Developmental assessments are done at various intervals in your baby’s life. In the first year of life these assessments are fairly regular. Your baby is growing fast and various milestones are being achieved.
Ensuring that the milestones are being met at the appropriate time is very important. Early intervention for problems may save your child a lifetime of problems.

- Monitoring adequate growth (weight, height, head circumference)
- Sight and hearing
- Milestones (sitting, crossing mid-line, speech, crawling and so on)
- Psychosocial wellbeing
